ITINERARY

The length of stay is seven nights. Whereas travel arrangements to and from Bologna are the responsibility of each participant, we will assist in arrangements, if desired. Upon arrival in Bologna, you will be met for the trip to the locanda. Your plans should enable you to arrive in time for the lunchtime meal. In addition to the cooking classes, you will visit the residence of a famous scientist and inventor, along with the museum of a famous manufacturer of sportscars. There will be a trips to a prestigious winery for tastings and lunch, and to producers of cheese, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. A highlight of the week will be La Notte a Sasso Marconi (The Night in Sasso Marconi). All meals not taken at the Locanda will be in the charming osterie, taverne or castles of Emilia Romagna, in or near Bologna. There will be ample time for shopping in the exquisite shops of Bologna and the region.
